  2. bear) can be seen at the bottom of the
  3. chasm.
  4. #1There is a massive vending machine
  5. here. The instructions on it read:
  6. 'Drop coins here to receive fresh
  7. batteries'.
  8. #2There is a message scrawled in the
  9. dust in a flowery script, reading:
  10. 'This is not the maze where the pirate
  11. leaves his treasure chest'.
  12. #3The oyster creaks open, revealing
  13. nothing but oyster inside. It promptly
  14. snaps shut again.
  15. #4The little bird is now dead. Its body
  16. disappears.
  17. #5You have taken a drink from the stream.
  18. The water tastes strongly of minerals,
  19. but is not unpleasant. It is extremely
  20. cold.
  21. #6There is a loud explosion, and a
  22. twenty-foot hole appears in the far
  23. wall, burying the dwarves in the
  24. rubble. You march through the hole and
  25. find yourself in the main office, where
  26. a cheering band of friendly elves carry
  27. the conquering adventurer off into the
  28. sunset.

  40. threatening little dwarves in the room
